1994 Ducati 916 Strada (SP)
Bitten by the Ducati bug nearly 2 decades ago (WTF?!) this is what bit me: a '94 916 Strada built to SP spec' by Epicycle, the crew who built the Ducati Dealer Team bikes for ASBK. I loved it, but didn't really know enough to fully understand it. P8 ECU, G/A cams, 50mm exhaust, carbon fairings, etc. Forums etc were nothing like they are now so I was kinda flying blind, but it was a hell of an introduction to Ducati's and made a lasting impression.
It was a contradiction: a V-twin with a power curve like an IL4. Flat and underwhelming through the mid-range, it came alive at 8000rpm.
