"Does my bum look big in this?" Replacing the huge OEM duck's-arse tail cowl with a Honda SP1 tail/subframe had a remarkable slimming effect.
It was far from perfect but an Ohlins shock (replacing the dodgy OEM rotary damper) had it headed in the right direction and there was plenty of character from the booming V-twin. An ex-race bike it was a bit scruffy, which made it perfect project material. I had some nice parts (Mg rims, triples etc) accumulated for it but a relocation back to Oz put the mockers on the project before it really got going.
An interesting bike all the same.
