2006 Honda CBR1000RR
An ex-Honda NZ superbike this was my first dedicated race bike, and courtesy of it's previous history nicely spec'd with plenty of HRC goodness, Ohlins suspension, Leo Vince exhaust etc etc.
And no starter motor. Not normally an issue, it bumped easily, but occasionally you'd be delayed on a grid with blood pressure rising in sync with the temperature gauge.
I wasn't previously a big Honda fan, but found everything you read about Honda's "just working" was true, just a great bike that inspired confidence.
(the rattle can paint job was just a bit of fun)
